Tryouts

Attention all Senior U10, U12 and Junior U14 players and parents.  Next year you will be registering for U12 and or U14.  Registration for these age groups will open on Monday, May 13th, 2013 and close on Tuesday, May 28th, 2013.  You must be registered by this date to participate in tryouts which is required for competitive team placement.  Details on Tryouts are below:

There will be two (2) tryout dates for each age group. Every player who wishes to try out for a Division 1 or Division 2 team, MUST ATTEND AT LEAST 1 TRYOUT SESSION designated for their appropriate age group. Players may attend both sessions, this is recommended but is not required.

THERE WILL BE NO MAKEUP OPTIONS FOR TRYOUTS THIS YEAR. If a tryout is not attended then a player will automatically be placed on a Recreational Division team. Extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis. Providing two tryout dates should alleviate conflicts with other sporting or school events.

Tryouts are for placement purposes only. All players registering by the U12/U14 registration deadline of May 28th, will be placed on a team.

Tryout details:

U12, U14 Tryouts for team placement will be held on May 28th, May 29th, May 30th, May 31st and June 2nd at Birch Plains (Airport) Field, 99 Lp Henderson Road, Beverly, MA 01915.

Times are as follows: (Please arrive no later than the listed check-in time.)

* May 28th Check-in at 5:15 PM U12 Girls 5:30 PM-7:30 PM

* May 29th Check-in at 5:15 PM U12 Boys 5:30 PM-7:30 PM

* May 30th Check-in at 5:15 PM U14 Girls 5:30 PM-7:30 PM

* May 31st Check-in at 5:15 PM U14 Boys 5:30 PM-7:30 PM

* June 2nd Check-in at 7:45 AM U14 Girls and Boys 8:00 AM-10:00 AM

June 2nd Check-in at 10:30 AM U12 Girls and Boys 10:45AM-12:45PM
All players must bring a 1″x1″ color headshot photo for the ECYSA ID. We are aware that there is now an option to upload the photo online when you register, but bringing an actual photo for ID creation to tryouts is still required.
