Grade 3–4 Soccer

Cross-Town Program · 8 games per season · Practices twice per week
About the program

Our Grade 3–4 Soccer Program is intended to provide young players of all ages with a fun, development-focused soccer experience, as well as exposure to their first competitive games. We offer recreational (partial travel) teams that play against other teams from Beverly, as well as teams from Salem and Danvers in our Cross-Town Program. Teams play 8 games per season, and practice twice per week.

Practices

Crosstown teams practice twice per week during the season — once at Beverly Middle School for a DoC (Director of Coaches) led practice, and one additional team practice at Cross Lane Field. DoC practices are held on Tuesdays or Thursdays at the Beverly Middle School Grass Field.

Interested in travel soccer? BYSA also offers Grade 3/4 ECYSA Travel Teams for players looking for a higher level of competition.

Recommended gear

Grade 3–4 players will need shin guards, a size 4 soccer ball, and soccer cleats. Please note that baseball/softball cleats are not allowed — there's an additional cleat on the toe that isn't suitable for soccer. If you have a uniform from a prior season that still fits, please feel free to wear that.

Registering multiple children?

If you have siblings or multiple children to register, please back out of TeamSnap completely and re-enter under the appropriate age group for each child. Each player must be registered separately through their own age group's registration link.
