Beverly Youth Soccer Association - Grade 1-2 Soccer
Our Grade 1-2 Soccer Program is intended to help develop young soccer players in a low-stress, player development-focused environment. Games are played 4v4, with small nets and no goalies. Games are two 25 minute halves.
Teams practice 1-2 times per week during the season. Boys have a DoC (Director of Coaches) led practice every Tuesday at North Beverly Elementary from 5:00-5:50, and Girls have a DoC-led practice every Thursday at North Beverly Elementary from 5:00-5:50. Coaches may also opt to conduct a second practice with their teams at another time during the week.
You can sign up now for 2021 programs.
Players should purchase a black and an orange BYSA shirt from Todd's Sporting Goods, located on Cabot St. Todd's also sells shorts and socks. Grade 1-2 players will also need shin guards, a size 3 soccer ball and soccer cleats. Please note that baseball/softball cleats are not allowed (there's an additional cleat on the toe that you don't want for soccer).
