As we all work on a safe Return to Soccer, we understand that different families will have different risk tolerances and level of comfort with sports, including soccer. Per state guidelines, should reopening continue on schedule, soccer will be largely normal this fall. Team formation will happen late (and be different), but the experience on the field for the kids should be surprisingly similar to what families are used to. That said, we are allowed to add players late this season, well into the start of the season, so if you're finding yourself uncomfortable with committing to the fall season now, please feel free to wait until you're ready. We'll do our best to accomodate every player possible for as long as possible as we return to play.
2020/21 Program Registration is OPEN
Registration for our Pre-K, Kindergarten, Grade 1-2, and Grade 3-4 CrossTown programs will be open through at least August 1, without a waitlist or fees.
Soccer leagues and development programs for the youth of Beverly, MA
Our Pre-K/Kindergarten program offers our tiniest players the opportunity to get started playing the game of soccer in a fun and supportive environment that teaches fundamental skills and the basics of game play.
Our Grade 1-2 program is geared towards teaching the basics of the game. Real games with real referees and separate practices allow kids to develop skills and take initial competitive steps.
We offer both Cross-Town teams which compete with other Beverly, Salem, and Danvers teams, as well as competitive ECYSA travel teams at the Grade 3-4 Level. Our player development-focused curriculum is centered around preparing young players for their first exposure to competitive soccer.
ECYSA Travel Soccer (Grades 5-10)
At the higher age levels, BYSA places teams in Essex County Youth Soccer Association (ECYSA). Players of all skill level are welcome, as we place teams from recreational players who just enjoy playing all the way up through the highest competitive levels.
Summer Clinics w/ Beverly Panthers Soccer
BYSA Director of Coaching Edgar de Leon is pleased to offer a number of weekly soccer clinics over the coming weeks. These clinics will be run in strict adherence to state 'Return to Play' guidelines, and will offer your kids both professional instruction AND the ability to get on the field and play with their friends. If you've got a little one who's been kicking a ball against the wall for the last three months waiting to play, these clinics are PERFECT for you.
Beverly Youth Soccer Association is a volunteer-run non-profit corporation. Our Board Meetings are held monthly and are open to the public - all are welcome. Come with your questions, concerns, or to volunteer.
Next Meeting: February 12, 2020 at the Barnet Gallery, Beverly Public Library
However, many athletes never quite cross the 10,000 hour finish line, and have used the scapegoat reason, “I just didn’t have enough time to commit to the sport.”
Beverly Youth Soccer Association will be offering Goalkeeper Training for grades 5-8 in the Fall. Next sessions TBD!
